| On Saturday the 5th of December The Cobra Ju-Jitsu Clubs in Belfast, Northern Ireland held Black Belt gradings. The following is a short report submitted by Sensei Paul Simpson: "We Held our National Black belt Gradings over here today and had C.M.A.A. Director John Greenhalgh 8th Dan sit in on the panel for us. Great day and tough old grading. We covered all the self defence aspects of the syllabus, throws, kata, sparring and ground work. Graded today were Cheryl Stevenson 1st Dan Nathan Simpson 1st Dan Jim Weir 1st Dan Joseph Magee 1st Dan Ashley Murray 1st Dan Gerard Mcanally 1st Dan Kevin Clarke 1st Dan The panel today was John Greenhalgh 8th Dan, Paul Simpson 5th Dan, Adrian Green 4th Dan, Seven Smith 2nd Dan, Eileen Rocks 2nd Dan, Leanne Murray 2nd Dan."
